La Petite Zine
There are presently no open calls for submissions.
La Petite Zine reads submissions year-round (except when we take a break for beauty rest).
All new submissions must be sent through Submittable, our online submissions management system.
We’ve recently adopted a two dollar submission service charge.
Why the charge, you ask? Well, remember the old days when you used to buy stamps to slap onto a manilla envelope? We felt that Submittable should be compensated for their good work—just like the post office!
One dollar of your submission goes directly to Submittable. The other dollar goes to pay our web landlords, and to make sure La Petite Zine stays mean, clean, and, as always, free to readers.
Please, no multiple submissions. Please wait four months before submitting again. Simultaneous submissions are fine. Deviation from the guidelines will result in the disposal of your submission.
Read some recent issues before submitting. No excuses. They’re free and they’re lookers.
We acquire First Rights, or one-time rights. Copyright reverts back to the author or artist after publication.
Submit up to five poems as one submission.
Submit up to three prose pieces as one submission. Prose pieces must be under 1,000 words.
